Toronto, June 20
An exhausting, packed and thrilling day…It started with an excellent shave in an Italian heritage barber shop in downtown Toronto and ended with an equally excellent dinner among friends, celebrating and recapitulating an intense, difficult to digest game. As complex and demanding as expected, played in a tight, open stadium at the sea. 4 hours in the open sun, placed on temporary tribunes without shelter.
Pure bliss in minute 94, and Germany fans from all corners of the world jumping all over each other.
Planning for the knock out stages can start, which I refused to deal with so far, after the experience of Russia and Qatar…
Back on the bike tomorrow for 2 days, heading towards Jersey, where we will play a more relaxed, third game.
